9/10

Bloodborne: The Old Hunters is the first and only expansion for the critically acclaimed action RPG Bloodborne. It was released on November 24, 2015, for PlayStation 4. The expansion adds a significant amount of new content to the game, including new areas, bosses, weapons, and armor. It also expands on the game’s story and lore.

New Areas

The Old Hunters introduces two new areas to Bloodborne: the Hunter’s Nightmare and the Fishing Hamlet. The Hunter’s Nightmare is a twisted and nightmarish realm where hunters from the past are trapped forever. It is filled with dangerous enemies and deadly traps. The Fishing Hamlet is a desolate and abandoned village that is home to a group of deformed and twisted creatures.

New Bosses

The Old Hunters also introduces several new bosses to Bloodborne. These bosses are some of the most challenging and rewarding in the game. They include Ludwig the Accursed, a giant beast with a sword for a tail; Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower, a skilled and agile swordswoman; and Orphan of Kos, a grotesque and powerful creature that is the final boss of the expansion.

New Weapons and Armor

The Old Hunters adds a variety of new weapons and armor to Bloodborne. These weapons and armor can be found throughout the new areas or purchased from merchants. They include the Whirligig Saw, a large and powerful serrated blade; the Burial Blade, a scythe-like weapon that can be transformed into a sword; and the Old Hunter Set, a set of armor that provides excellent protection against physical and elemental attacks.

New Story Details

The Old Hunters expands on the story and lore of Bloodborne. It tells the tale of the hunters who once made Yharnam their hunting grounds. These hunters were eventually betrayed and killed by the Healing Church, and their spirits were trapped in the Hunter’s Nightmare. The expansion also introduces new NPCs and side quests that help to flesh out the world of Bloodborne.
