Gameplay
Family Feud: 2012 Edition is a trivia game in which two families compete against each other to guess the top answers to survey questions. The game is played in a series of rounds, each of which consists of a different survey question.
To start a round, one member of each family is selected to come to the center of the stage and answer the question. The player who buzzes in first gets to answer first. If the player gives the number one answer, their family wins points. If the player does not give the number one answer, the other player can give their answer. Whoever has the best answer will then decide to either “play” or “pass”.
If the player decides to play, their family will have to guess all of the remaining answers to the question. If the player decides to pass, the opposing family will have a chance to steal the points by guessing one correct answer that has not already been given.
Each wrong answer results in a strike. After three strikes, the other family has a chance to steal the points. To do so, they must find one correct answer that hasn’t already been given.
The family with the most points at the end of the game wins.

Tips for Winning
Here are a few tips for winning at Family Feud: 2012 Edition:
- Try to guess the number one answer. This is the most important thing you can do to win. If you can guess the number one answer, you’ll give your family a huge advantage.
- Don’t be afraid to pass. If you don’t know the answer to a question, don’t be afraid to pass. It’s better to pass than to give a wrong answer and give the other family a chance to steal the points.
- Play strategically. If you’re playing against a family that is very good at guessing the answers, you may want to play more conservatively. Don’t try to guess all of the answers yourself. Instead, let your family members guess some of the answers. This will help you avoid getting three strikes and giving the other family a chance to steal the points.
- Have fun! Family Feud is a game that is meant to be enjoyed. So relax, have fun, and don’t take it too seriously.
