Story
The story of Hyperdimension Neptunia U: Action Unleashed takes place in the world of Gamindustri, a world where video games are everything. The four goddesses of Gamindustri, Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert, are tasked with protecting the world from evil. However, when a new threat emerges, the goddesses are forced to team up with their rivals, the CPUs of the other nations, to defeat it.

The characters can also transform into more powerful forms, known as HDD forms. HDD forms give the characters increased stats and abilities, and they also change the character’s appearance. However, HDD forms can only be used for a limited time, so players must use them strategically.
If the characters take too much damage, their clothing will get damaged. This does not affect the character’s stats or abilities, but it does make them more vulnerable to further damage. Players can repair their clothing by using items or by visiting a save point.
