Story
The story of Kamen Rider: Climax Heroes is set in the Decade universe, where the worlds of the other nine Riders are all combining into one. This is due to the machinations of the evil Dai-Shocker organization, who seek to merge all of the Rider worlds into one under their control.
The Riders must work together to stop Dai-Shocker and save their worlds. To do this, they must travel to different worlds and defeat the various干部 (kanbu) or generals of Dai-Shocker.
The main story mode is called “Decade Mode”, and it features a branching storyline that changes depending on which Rider the player chooses to play as. There are also several side missions that can be completed to unlock new characters and items.
Gameplay
Kamen Rider: Climax Heroes is a 3D fighting game that plays much like other popular fighters such as Tekken. However, Climax Heroes has a unique “Form Change” system that allows each Rider to transform during battle, and even in the middle of a combo.
Each Rider has multiple forms that they can transform into, each with its own unique abilities and stats. For example, Kamen Rider Kuuga can transform into his Pegasus Form, which gives him increased speed and agility, or his Titan Form, which gives him increased strength and defense.
The Form Change system adds a lot of depth and strategy to the gameplay, as players must carefully consider which form to use in each situation. It also allows for some very flashy and over-the-top combos.
In addition to the Form Change system, Climax Heroes also features a variety of other gameplay modes, including:
- Versus Mode: A standard one-on-one fighting mode.
- Survival Mode: A mode where the player must fight against an endless horde of enemies.
- Training Mode: A mode where the player can practice their combos and learn the game’s mechanics.
