Introduction

Moero Crystal is a role-playing video game developed by Compile Heart for the PlayStation Vita. It is part of the Genkai Tokki series and the sequel to Moe Chronicle. The game was released in Japan in 2015 and in North America and Europe in 2016.

Gameplay

Moero Crystal is a turn-based tactical RPG in which the player controls a party of up to five characters. The player explores dungeons, fights monsters, and collects items. The game’s combat system is simple to learn but difficult to master. Players must carefully consider the strengths and weaknesses of their characters and enemies, as well as the positioning of their units on the battlefield.

One of the unique features of Moero Crystal is its “scratching” mechanic. When the player defeats a monster girl, they can use the Vita’s touchscreen to “scratch” her. This will increase her好感度(好感度) and make her more likely to join the player’s party. Players can also use items to increase a monster girl’s好感度.

Story

Moero Crystal tells the story of Zenox, a young man who dreams of becoming a hero. One day, he is summoned to the kingdom of Lapisdea to help defeat the evil Demon Lord. Zenox is joined by a team of five monster girls:

  • Cerea is a cheerful and optimistic centaur girl.
  • Filia is a mischievous and playful kitsune girl.
  • Ignia is a proud and strong dragon girl.
  • Undine is a kind and gentle mermaid girl.

Together, Zenox and his monster girl companions must travel across Lapisdea and defeat the Demon Lord. Along the way, they will learn the importance of friendship, courage, and love.
