Servo: A Sci-Fi RTS Where You Design and Control Giant War Machines

Servo is a real-time strategy (RTS) game with a unique twist: you design and control giant war machines called Servos. These Servos are highly customizable, and you can equip them with a variety of weapons and abilities to suit your playstyle.

The game was developed by Black Forest Games, a studio founded by some of the key creative talent behind the Age of Empires series. Servo combines the intense RTS gameplay of Age of Empires with the Diablo-like progression of loot and character customization.

Gameplay

In Servo, you play as one of four factions: the United States, the European Union, the Pan-Asian Coalition, or the Russian Federation. Each faction has its own unique Servos and abilities.

The game features a variety of competitive and cooperative scenarios. In competitive multiplayer, you can battle against other players in team deathmatch, capture the flag, and other modes. In cooperative multiplayer, you can team up with other players to take on AI opponents in missions.

Servo Design

Servos are the heart of Servo. These massive war machines are highly customizable, and you can equip them with a variety of weapons and abilities.

There are three main types of Servos: light, medium, and heavy. Light Servos are fast and agile, but they don’t have much firepower. Medium Servos are more balanced, with a good mix of speed, firepower, and durability. Heavy Servos are slow and lumbering, but they can dish out a lot of damage.

Each Servo has a variety of hardpoints where you can equip weapons and abilities. There are four types of hardpoints: weapon hardpoints, ability hardpoints, utility hardpoints, and defensive hardpoints.

Weapon hardpoints can be equipped with a variety of weapons, including machine guns, cannons, lasers, and missiles. Ability hardpoints can be equipped with abilities that give your Servo special abilities, such as the ability to cloak, repair itself, or call down airstrikes. Utility hardpoints can be equipped with items that provide passive bonuses to your Servo, such as increased speed or armor. Defensive hardpoints can be equipped with items that protect your Servo from damage, such as energy shields or armor plating.

Progression

As you play Servo, you will earn experience points and level up. As you level up, you will unlock new weapons, abilities, and items that you can use to customize your Servos.

You can also earn loot by completing missions and defeating enemies. Loot can include new weapons, abilities, items, and even new Servos.

Graphics and Sound

Servo features beautiful graphics and sound design. The game’s environments are detailed and immersive, and the sound effects and music are top-notch.

Overall

Servo is a great RTS game that offers a unique blend of strategy and customization. The game’s intense gameplay, Diablo-like progression, and beautiful graphics make it a must-play for fans of the RTS genre.
