The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC is a role-playing game developed by Nihon Falcom and published by Xseed Games. It was released in Japan in 2006 and in North America and Europe in 2015. The game is a sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, and follows the story of Estelle Bright and her companions as they travel across the continent of Liberl in search of her missing friend, Joshua Astray.
Story
The game picks up shortly after the events of Trails in the Sky. Estelle and her friends have just defeated the evil society known as Ouroboros, and are now enjoying a brief respite in the city of Grancel. However, their peace is short-lived, as they soon learn that Joshua has disappeared.
Estelle is determined to find her friend, and sets out on a journey across Liberl to find him. Along the way, she is joined by a new group of companions, including Olivier Lenheim, a traveling bard, and Kloe Rinz, a young woman from the Intelligence Division.
As Estelle and her friends travel, they learn more about the Society of Ouroboros and its plans for Liberl. They also discover that Joshua has been kidnapped by Ouroboros, and that he is being held captive in the ancient city of Zeiss.
Estelle and her friends must race against time to save Joshua and stop Ouroboros from carrying out their plans. They will face many challenges along the way, but they are determined to succeed.
Gameplay
Trails in the Sky SC is a turn-based role-playing game. Players control a party of up to four characters, and can choose from a variety of attacks and spells to use in combat. The game also features a unique “Orbment” system, which allows players to customize their characters’ abilities by equipping them with different orbs.
In addition to the main story, Trails in the Sky SC also features a number of side quests and mini-games. Players can explore the world of Liberl, talk to NPCs, and complete quests to earn rewards.
